HEARTKIDS ELECTION PLEDGE

THE BRIEF

In the lead-up to the 2025 Federal Election, HeartKids called on the Government and Opposition to pledge funding to reduce the impact of childhood-onset heart disease, which affects over one million Australians. Our task was to deliver a media campaign that highlighted the urgent need for this lifesaving investment.

OUR RESPONSE

We put human stories at the heart of the campaign - featuring powerful, real-life case studies that illustrated the financial, emotional and social toll of childhood-onset heart disease on families and communities. These personal stories were paired with commentary from HeartKids' CEO, who outlined where the funding would be directed and urged bipartisan political support.

RESULTS

The campaign successfully secured media coverage in local outlets tied to each case study, as well as in statewide and national media. In total, the campaign generated 123 media mentions, reached a potential audience of over 32 million, and achieved an advertising space rate equivalent of more than $469,400.
