THE BRIEF

Progressive PR & Communications (PPR&C) were engaged by Funtopia to execute a comprehensive media strategy for the launch of their new centre in Carrum Downs in Melbourne’s south east.

The brief was to create hype surrounding the launch through influencer-based sneak-peeks, facilitate a comprehensive state-wide giveaway campaign and set up, create content, schedule and manage all of Funtopia Carrum Downs’ social media accounts across Google Business, Instagram and Facebook.  

OUR RESPONSE

PPR&C proposed a campaign to launch Funtopia as the biggest indoor adventure play centre in the country, Australia’s largest indoor playground, the world’s safest and most technically advanced climbing walls and restaurant-quality food and drinks at the on-site café.

Alongside was a campaign inviting influencers to experience Funtopia for themselves and a substantial and engaging social media calendar.

RESULTS

Our objectives of creating mass awareness, driving ticket sales, and birthday party bookings was well achieved during the campaign period.

PPR&C conducted a compelling campaign which consisted of launch coverage in the Herald Sun, The Age, 3AW and more.

Furthermore, substantial social media coverage was achieved via the launch aand hosting influencer visits. Momentum was maintained via a strategic yet playful social media content calendar which was well received by Funtopia Carrum Down’s target Audience.
