THE BRIEF
We were briefed by Ascott Limited to promote the launch of the brand-new Citadines Connect Sydney Airport, a chic airport hotel perfect for frequent travelers passing through the city or those looking for affordable and well-connected accommodation. The brief was outside of the retainer activity undertaken by the agency on behalf of Ascott Limited, and encompassed traditional PR news coverage around the announcement, famils with national and local media and Influencer visits.
OUR RESPONSE
We developed an extensive list of national and local travel and lifestyle media and invited journalists to experience the property in exchange for a review or larger story incorporating activities around Sydney. Further along in the campaign, we also secured giveaways with several print and radio outlets in regional NSW.
RESULTS
Over the course of the campaign period, we secured a range of features in major publications including The Australian Travel + Indulgence, WHO magazine‘s The Travel List, The Newcastle Herald, 9Travel, OK! Magazine. We also secured giveaways in The Northern Daily Leader, Maitland Mercury, Central Western Daily, South Coast Register, Southern Highland News and on B-Rock FM.
