THE BRIEF

Shane Warne Legacy approached Progressive PR to assist with the launch of their branded Monopoly game. The not for profit organisation, started in the legendary cricketers name, had partnered with Winning Moves to develop the world’s largest Monopoly Board to officially launch the partnership and were relying on power of PR to draw highlight the launch and drive sales for the game.

OUR RESPONSE

With support from the Warne Family and a Guiness Book of Records sized Monopoly board, ppr managed a media launch for the release of the board game, inviting national news media to attend. The media call offered drone footage of the giant game as well as interviews with the family and key spokespeople from Shane Warne Legacy.

RESULTS

The campaign secured coverage across every television network in Australia, as well as being picked up in India, the United Kingdom and South Africa. The reach for the campaign was 333 million views with over 900 media mentions.
